Create a slide-out for anything you can imagine.

As you know, Squarespace 7.1 allows us to add a secondary footer section. But who needs a secondary footer? To us, that question became: what can we do with that secondary footer? Why not use it to create a cool slide-out and give visitors faster access to a contact form, the latest blog posts, an Instagram feed, or… an Accordion FAQ? Anything you can design in that top footer section can be shown in the Slider. And because we use an actual section, you can keep using all the native Squarespace section settings like colors, fonts, background animations etc!

Any element that has the ability to be linked: any button - regular or in Lists, image blocks etc, text links, Button in the Header, and a regular navigation link, can be assigned to trigger Sliiiide.

But we didn’t stop there: we added some cool Mods as well.

• Set your own preferred width for the slide-out for mobile and for desktop

• Set the slider’s slide-in/out speed

• Want an X or Close, or any text you want, and pick your preferred color: check

• Want that slider to come out on the right side or left side or top or bottom. Sure, why not!

• Blur and/or set the opacity for the background

• Turn the website scroll behind the slider on or off
